Anna's style is interpretative and directed by the colours as they unfold on the paper. She tries to let the painting take her where it wants to go and she follows. A degree of mystery in the painting permits the viewer to become involved in the interpretation as well. It is important for her to draw the viewer into the painting and to see whatever they wish to see within the parameters of the work.

Watercolour is her preferred medium although it is difficult to work with due to the demands of time and attention which must be devoted to each painting during the creative process. She enjoys the intensity which develops as she "discovers" the painting. Each painting seems to be a living thing for her as she watches the colours take shape and "show her" what is unfolding before her.

Florals and woodland scenes seem to be conducive to her free flowing style of creativity and permits her to interject a degree of mysticism in the creation.
